Project Details

The renovation and fit-out of BDO Waterloo’s workplace transformed the office into a modern, collaborative environment aligned with the firm’s design standards. The project delivered a complete back-to-base reset and full office build-out, blending contemporary corporate interiors with the warmth and character of a historic brick-and-beam structure.

The south suite received a full overhaul to reflect BDO’s current standards, featuring clean lines, open work areas, and a highly collaborative floor layout. Designed to support a wide range of team activities, the space includes meeting rooms accommodating 4 to 30 people, highlighted by a flexible large-format room equipped with a high-end automatic operable wall to enhance functionality, acoustics, and adaptability.

In contrast, the north suite preserves and elevates the charm of the existing brick-and-beam architecture. Instead of imposing a new aesthetic, the team emphasized the space’s inherent character by refinishing the original wood floors, cleaning exposed brick walls, and leaving ceilings open to reveal the wood structure above. This intentional balance of heritage and contemporary workplace strategy creates a distinctive environment that enhances the tenant experience and reinforces BDO’s brand presence.
