Project Details

Located in IBI’s downtown Toronto head office, this space brings together public and private-sector partners to drive urban innovation. Designed for flexibility and collaboration, it functions as both a community hub and event space, supporting impromptu discussions and structured meetings.

With movable furniture, shared tables, and portable tech screens, the layout adapts effectively to different needs. A breakout den provides a casual gathering space, while color-saturated “boxes” serve as meeting rooms and focused work areas, offering over 70 seats for collaboration.

The work zone includes 30 benching workstations for IBI’s visualization team, adjacent to a dedicated AV/VR presentation area. With its versatile design and integrated technology, this space fosters engagement, productivity, and innovation.

This project was a 2021 CoreNet REmmy Award Finalist for Workplace between 5,000-20,000 sf.
