As customers demand new ways of banking, Scotiabank realized that they needed a new approach to attract and retain the type of designers and developers needed to spearhead their digital transformation. They decided to build a 70,000 sq. ft., 380 employee, collaborative environment that would act as a muse to motivate and inspire while also crystallizing Scotiabank’s commitment to the modern workplace.

mform was chosen as the construction partner to help deliver this vision. The features of this impressive space include a gym, a rotunda, full staff kitchen and café, games room, stretch panel digital wall, curved OLED display and a serene quiet room. A tight timeline of 16 weeks to move-in 350 employees was the biggest challenge. To combat this, mform designed a double shift strategy and had over 240 tradespeople onsite. With the proper planning and an emphasis on communication, we completed all milestones and are proud of our contribution to this award-winning project.
